Bourne Parking were appointed by Morgan Sindall for the design and construction of the new multi-storey car park at Trinity College Unity Campus. The additional parking was required to support the wider redevelopment of the business park. The multi-storey car park was designed to be delivered in two phases, with all ramps and pedestrian stair cores in Phase 1 and the structure detailed for a simple extension to the Montex modular build system.

Bourne Parking were responsible for the design and build of the steel frame, precast concrete floors, vehicle crash barriers, top deck waterproofing, above ground drainage, white lining, precast concrete stair cores and finishes.  Also included in our scope was the design and installation of the bespoke sinusoidal façade treatment.

The parking layout was developed on a flat deck parking configuration which provided a simple, user friendly, clockwise circulation route with one-way traffic flow. Parking was located on the ground floor and four suspended levels. The ground floor also included two substation enclosures constructed by Morgan Sindall in in-situ concrete.
