
Bourne Steel’s benchmark project consisted of seven separate buildings situated on a large open campus style development, with many buildings interlinked with bridges to create a vibrant friendly village feel.
We provided the steelwork for a unique and technically advanced roof system which comprised of box section rafters with pre-cast roof panels.
One of the characteristic elements of the main roof was the Brise Soleil; we carefully fabricated the supporting arms to high tolerances and finish, which contributed to the overall aesthetic look of the finished building.
The atrium had to be built to extremely high tolerances to enable the fitting of the ETFE roof, which created a light and spacious working environment.
