Reporting to the Divisional Director, this is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to hold a key role within a specialist, dynamic and motivated team.
Working closely with the Divisional Director, whilst integrating & collaborating with Bourne Group activity, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the business, its strategic direction, opportunities and marketing.
By building and maintaining relationships at an appropriate level you will understand the pipeline of opportunities within existing key clients and ensure that we are requested to tender those to which we are most suited. It also essential that you have an open mind as to where opportunities lie and seek out new prospects.
Following bid submission you will pursue feedback and ensure that clarifications and updates are given as and when required to maximise conversion of bids to orders.
You will possess proven Business Development Management skills, with the ability to identify and source appropriate tender opportunities, to maximise our chances of success and ultimately secure contract wins.
You must be able to multi task effectively, and have excellent written and spoken communication and presentational skills. Ideally, you will have knowledge of the construction industry, and specific experience within the Rail sector would be an advantage.
You will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work, with a desire to succeed at every opportunity.
