Role

Reporting to the Works Manager this role will primarily focus on programming the profiler, amongst other responsibilities,

Other duties include:

• Programming the Voortman profiler, manage materials and the unloading of fittings from the profiler, manage consumables for the profiler.
• Operate the profiler in accordance with the forward load plan and instruction from the Production or Works Manager.
• Manage time and materials to ensure the profiler is always cutting
• Trouble-Shoot faults/errors with Voortman via Online service contact.
• Send profiler cutting report to Assistant Production Co-ordinator weekly.
• Meet required production programme dates for Internal or External supply.
• Ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks are carried out on the profiler, including the extraction unit.
• Operating other machinery within the factory such as the saw, drills, Geka and any other machine where training has been provided and as instructed by the Production or Works Manager.
• Actively promote and engage with Bourne safety requirements and the Bourne site safety scheme.
• Undertake overtime when necessary to meet demands.

The role is based at the Fabrication Works in Poole

Knowledge & Experience:

• CNC Machine operating experience.
• Capable of reading 2 and 3D fabrication and arrangement drawings
• Flexible with the ability to use different machines as required
• Work to tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing at all levels
• Administration experience.
• An understanding of the importance of Health and Safety requirements
