Join our exciting two-year training programme and you’ll be embarking on a future with a progressive construction company. We have built a strong reputation through the UK construction industry for steel and precast concrete solutions based on innovation, collaboration and cutting edge technology, offsite construction and teamwork.
Your training plan will cover all aspects of Site Management including methods of construction, Health & Safety, Quality, Environment & Sustainability. To ensure you have a fully rounded understanding of the construction business your training programme will include short placements in different departments such as Design, Business Development, Bid Management, Estimating and Procurement. This will ensure that you ensure that you experience in all areas of the business and gain the knowledge required to develop your future career.
Reporting to the Construction Manager this is an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to learn. You will be working within a team of experienced Site Managers and Surveyors on a wide range of projects.

You will be an enthusiastic, proactive individual with some construction or engineering related work experience and a keenness to learn. You will be computer literate with the aptitude to understand online systems. You will enjoy working as part of a team but able to work independently and own your own initiative. Attention to detail and accuracy are key skills and you must have at least a C in mathematics and English at GCSE level or equivalent. You should have a BTech or A levels with a relevant construction focus.
- Good multitasking and organisation skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and a can-do approach to teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills in writing, over the phone and face to face.
- Good computer literacy including word, producing spreadsheets in excel and database input and report production skills.
- Strong administration skills with an eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to maintain and provide regular updates on a diverse range of tasks.
Training will be provided on the relevant inhouse systems as required.
This role is Site Based and the successful candidate must be prepared to travel and stay away from home near site each week. All accommodation and expenses will be paid in accordance with the Company Expenses Policy.
