BAM Construction has appointed Bourne Parking to provide the steel frame, concrete planks, pre-cast stair cores and cladding for the new multi-storey car park at the Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing plant in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham.
The 59,000m² structure will provide 2,764 spaces for staff and production vehicle parking and will replace an existing surface car park.
The car park will be handed over in multiple phases matching car production requirements in the adjacent facilities.
Ridge and Partners are the architect and structural engineer. Mace is the quantity surveyor. The project is overseen for Jaguar Land Rover by AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineering) Construction.
This is the second project that Bourne Parking will carry out for Jaguar Land Rover.
