The Company is proud to announce that Bourne Steel has won a Structural Steel Design Award for the Exhibition Road Quarter project at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Bourne Steel were responsible for the connection design, fabrication and erection of 13 ‘Toblerone’ trusses that support the new public courtyard and entry from Exhibition Road above new basement level galleries.
The project team from Bourne Steel, Arup, Amanda Levete Architects (AL_A) and Wates attended the award ceremony at Banqueting House in Whitehall, London where they were presented with the award by BCSA President Tim Outteridge.
