Bourne Group were thrilled to sponsor and attend Circular Steel in June, adding their voice in support of the circular economy and the re-use of steel. Now in its second year and featuring a larger and more diverse group of 140 attendees and speakers, the one-day event in London included case studies and discussion panels on low carbon steel production, testing, availability and the inclusion of re-use steel in current projects.
Industry experts spoke passionately about the circular economy, including our lead strategist for sustainability Nigel Moss. Forming part of the panel on the purchase of reusable steel, he declared Bourne Group’s ongoing commitment to responsible sourcing, steel re-use and achieving net zero steel by 2050.
