Reporting to the Bid Direct, this is a great opportunity to join the Bourne Steel business area of Bourne Group Ltd at our Poole Office. As a Trainee Estimator, you will play a key role within a small, dynamic work winning team.

The role offers structured training and development, including occasional site visits and interaction with other departments within Bourne Group.

This position provides excellent prospects for future career progression.

You will work closely with the Estimators, Bid Managers and Bid Director, contributing to the preparation of Tenders aimed at securing new projects.

Applicant

We are seeking an individual educated to BTEC or A level standard (or equivalent). Qualifications in Maths, engineering or construction disciplines are desirable but not essential.  Good IT skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel is desirable but not essential.

You should be a confident communicator, both in person and via telephone/Teams, with strong written communication skills. Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy are essential, as is a high level of reliability, energy, and enthusiasm to integrate into our team.
