Bourne Steel installed a new infill roof that joins the former Eurostar International Terminal to the main concourse roof to provide vital weather protection for passengers as part of a £400m upgrade to increase capacity at Britain’s busiest railway station.

Bourne Steel provided the fully clad structure consisting of bomb blast designed louvres and curtain walling, standing seam roofing, high level access walkways and exposed structural steelwork with highly decorative finishes.

The project involved a highly complicated and technically challenging structure whilst working day and night adjacent to live train lines and millions of passengers.
