This project comprised the design and construction of a five-level multi-storey car park for Jaguar Land Rover to provide a total of 1,690 spaces. The scheme was a mix of staff parking bays and WIP (Work In Progress) vehicle storage, which resulted in an increased loading requirement compared with our standard frame design. 

BAM Construction were appointed by the client to deliver the overall scheme and Bourne Parking were engaged by BAM to design and build the steel frame, precast concrete floors and top deck waterproofing. 

The works included 4 precast concrete stair cores, 2,400 tonnes of steelwork, 46,000m² of precast slabs, asphalt to top floors and white lining throughout. It was completed in 23 weeks. 

The project was delivered in 2 phases in order to enable the early release or parking spaces and was handed over ahead of time and within budget.
