The Bourne Steel timetable and programmes were right on track recently at Southall Station, which is now ready for the TfL Elizabeth Line launch in 2022.  Southall station originally opened in 1839 and has undergone a significant upgrade as part of the Crossrail project. The Bourne team have installed a new forecourt, glass entrance, 3 lifts, staircases, pedestrian bridges and step free accessibility to all platforms. The station also has refreshed signage due to the large Punjabi community – and is one of the few stations in England with bilingual signage.
